About Me I was born in Colchester and was raised in the Stour Valley area, growing up in and around farming. I moved to the Essex Coast four years ago. I am a keen horse rider. My Day to Day A lot of my daily tasks involve speaking to landlords regarding tenancies, carrying out viewings, speaking with current and potential future tenants, and also organising the practical elements of our holiday lettings business, including the cleaning of properties and administration of bookings. What I love about my job I really enjoy the variety of my work – each day is different. In this job it is vital to build up relationships with your landlords which makes the whole job a lot easier. We have a good team here with a great atmosphere. I always enjoy seeing the excitement of people moving into their home, and it is very rewarding knowing that I have played a part in putting together a happy tenant and landlord. Amy Buxton, Sales Negotiator amy.buxton@ boydens.co.uk Amy is a Sales Negotiator based in Frinton and is responsible for successfully negotiating the sale of homes across the area. About Me I started working for Boydens in 2016 having previously worked in the hospitality industry and attending college in the area. I am a keen tennis player and play at Frinton Tennis Club in various tournaments. I enjoy travelling and am keen to experience new cultures and activities. I also love to spend time with friends and family and take in London theatre shows. My Day to Day A typical day doesn’t really exist, but there are elements which are a consistent part of my role. These include booking in viewings and providing feedback. Valuations require preparing for in terms of researching the property and area carefully, and this can take some time in order to be as accurate as possible. I also work on the presentation of new homes to the market, writing up details, creating floor plans and taking photos, and (if applicable) filming a video tour. What I love about my job I love the fact that my job is not purely office based – I get to see different places and meet new people every day – different ages and characters too. I also enjoy being creative with my photo and video work where we take care to enhance our photography, which never fails to impress clients. Carrying out viewings on beach huts we sell is also an enjoyable part of the job (especially when the weather is sunny!) I can help you with...
